Ruba product infrastructure

Put the regulatory sale on Ruba

Use one commercial layer for payment, tax, buyer documents, refunds, and disputes.

Read the technical guide

For an approved Merchant of Record Transaction, Ruba is the reseller to the Buyer. You continue to own the Product and customer experience while Ruba is responsible for the Buyer Transaction it accepts.

Capability matrix

Processing money is not the same as being the seller

Payment service provider

You remain merchant

The provider moves funds, while your company remains responsible for the sale and its tax obligations.

Merchant of Record

Ruba is reseller

Ruba contracts with the buyer for the accepted digital sale and carries the related transaction obligations.

Execution workflow

What happens to an international order

  1. 01

    Buyer is evaluated

Location and tax status determine the treatment available for the checkout.

  2. 02

    Payment is authorized

The buyer sees the product, seller, tax treatment, and final amount before paying.

  3. 03

    Documents are issued

The completed order produces the invoice or receipt attached to that sale.

  4. 04

    Tax is handled

For supported jurisdictions, Ruba records and remits the collected obligation.

  5. 05

    Later events stay connected

Refunds adjust the transaction and tax record; disputes remain tied to the same order.

01

Supported-market coverage
